Nicole and TJ -Married -Running Deer Golf Club Pittsgrove, NJ

A few years back we were at my friend Melissa’s birthday party in Philly and she said to me “I can’t wait for you to meet my sister’s boyfriend because I think he is the one!”. Well, needless to say, she was correct and TJ and Nicole were just right for each other which is what led us to this day. We have been fortunate enough to call this family our friends for some years now, and we always look forward to an event with them. Nicole and TJ picked our favorite wedding venue in Pittsgrove, NJ. Both the ceremony and reception were held at Running Deer Golf Club. The outdoor area was blooming with color which complimented Nicole and TJ’s bridal party colors so well. To say this was a fun group is an understatement, and working with them felt effortless. This was our first wedding in over a year (lets just backspace over 2020), and it felt so good to be back in our groove. It made me remember why I fell in love with shooting weddings and how much I love to photograph love. I didn’t realize how much I missed wedding music, but more so the energy from such a happy and exciting day that I feed off of. We were able to capture so many moments, reactions and genuine smiles that you can only hope for as a wedding photographer… So, scroll down to see this beautiful day unfold for yourself! Big thanks to Nicole and TJ for choosing us to be part of their day!

Rebecca, Neil, Zoe & Millie – Tyler Arboretum

RB-040 copy

Well, Here we are doing post-covid photoshoots and couldn’t be happier. I never thought we would go that long without shooting any sessions, but 2020 had other plans. But, it feels great to be back and I have some catching up to do on posts. So, I cannot think of a better post to start out with than Becky and Neil’s family photos. The exciting part about this is that we shot their wedding back in 2012 which you can see here . So, when Neil contacted me about doing some family photos we were eager to get behind the camera and meet their little girls. When it comes to little girls, these two are the cutest. I’m pretty sure Zoe has some modeling experience under her belt because she was great in front of the camera, and Millie is a doll. The girls had been to Tyler Arboretum before, and they already knew all their favorite spots for some photos. I’ve been so lucky recently to photograph clients that we know and it makes the shoot so effortless. This was a really fun shoot with such a beautiful family.

Amanda’s Sweet 16 Guestbook

Amanda was so amazing in front of the lens that she made this shoot easy. So, I wanted to post a look at the guestbook we created for her Sweet 16 party.

Becca and Chris – Married The Waterfall Claymont, Delaware

0420
The first time that I met Becca was years ago at her brother’s wedding. From that point on we have spent some days on Brigantine beach and other family events as we became good friends with her brother and their families. So, as soon as I heard that Becca was engaged not only were we excited for her, but we knew we would love to shoot the wedding. Becca actually got engaged while Austin and I were living in Orlando, but fortunately we made our way back and they selected us to shoot their special day. When we met Chris, the first thing I said was “Chris is so much fun, their wedding is going to be awesome”. It surely did not disappoint, and Becca was such a stunning and easygoing bride. Becca and Chris had the ceremony and reception at the gorgeous Waterfall in Claymont, Delaware. This venue had so many places for photos that we could have shot portraits for hours. My favorite part of the day was definitely the first look. The anticipation seemed to be killing Chris, but his reaction is something that only photos can explain. There was so much love in that moment, that it made me proud to be their photographer. I am so fortunate to do a job that allows me to surround myself with some of the best things this life has to offer. Becca and Chris chose tropical inspired décor and flowers which were so gorgeous and added so much color to the day. I have to say though, that the award for best photo posing skills goes out to the flower girl Lily who didn’t miss a beat when it was time for photos. The flower girls took their job very seriously and they were such cuties coming down the aisle. Becca and Chris wrote their own vows, and they were definitely some of the best I have ever heard. Its actually difficult to take photos when you have tears in your eyes because their vows were so sincere and touching. I hope you guys are having the time of your life in Jamaica!
