Jessica and Kevin are Married!

Well, I’m sure you can see why this post is so exciting. Bigger Pictures!! Blogger limits the size that you can post your pictures, but after just a little html experimentation… wah-la! So, Jessica and Kevin get to be my first blog with the new image size. I had a great time second shooting for Mark Gardner this past weekend at this fabulous wedding in Wilmington, DE. They had 350 guests, and those guests sure knew how to party. Jessica made an absolutely stunning bride, and I loved her dress. Jessica’s sister Jamie gave one of the best maid of honor speeches I have heard, and the whole place was teary-eyed one minute and hysterical laughing the next. And now… the pics…

Is that one bridesmaid Krystal? If so, I know her!

Baby Ayden is on his way!

Well, This was a very exciting shoot last week. I did my very first maternity shoot with my friend/ next door neighbor Karen. Karen was a little nervous about the photos before we started, and told me that she never gets photos taken of herself, but we had so much fun. Karen makes the most adorable pregnant woman and I can’t wait to meet baby Ayden when he arrives in a few weeks. Karen’s shower was last Sunday and I surprised her with a framed print of one of her photos. There is no better feeling than making someone smile with a photograph that you took of them. Here are a few of my favorites:

Kathy and Steve… Married

I attended Kathy and Steve’s wedding as the second shooter for Michael Leslie on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Kathy made such a gorgeous bride and I don’t think she stopped smiling all day. It was a great day from start to finish and I am so glad I got to be there. I have a lot of favorites from this wedding so it’s going to be a long post…

What a beautiful bride…

The colors that they chose looked great!

The flowergirls were excited.. too cute

Kathy’s expression when she saw Steve was so genuine and touching…This is why I love weddings.

Hands down… My favorite image of the day

Back to Reality

So, we have made it back to New Jersey and back to reality… Florida was gorgeous… the weather was perfect and it was a great little get away.

This is a sunrise… not sunset, because yes, we were up that early…

I’m not sure why, but I love this picture. I took it of us in the car on our first night out to dinner

Margarita night… yum

My birthday…..
The entertainment was exactly that….. entertaining….

We must have a thing with visitors…. Austin and John captured this tiny little gecko inside the house….

Greetings from Sunny Florida

After a rainy week in Montreal, Canada…. I am glad to be spending some much needed R&R on Hutchinson Island in Florida. On a scale of 1-10 I would say the sunburn is only around a 4. My skin nevers sees this much sunlight, and even with SPF 30 applications every couple hours I have still managed to get pretty pink. Austin’s dad and stepmom have been overly generous inviting us down here and treating us so well. Note… I have still managed to get on the internet for all the vitals…haha… Thank goodness for air cards! Well, I’m going to get going and head out for some dinner by the ocean. Don’t worry.. As soon as I get back I will post pictures from both this trip and last weekends wedding!

p.s. … Is it weird to miss a dog?
