Tori’s Holy Communion

Today, I went to the first Holy Communion of my favorite little cheerleader Victoria. Tori was the flower girl in my wedding where she impressed everyone with her skills on the dance floor . I was so excited to be there today for Victoria and her family on such a big day. Congrats Tori!

Vacation = Cleaning?

So, I had a day off from work just to catch up on my life which included cleaning my room (closet room), and shopping for Mothers Day/B-day gifts. Needless to say I also came home with another cute pair of shoes and a pink handbag for me too! I’m definitely on a shoe kick recently. My room doesn’t stay this clean for very long and I’m sure that there will be clothes on the floor within a week. So, here is the room while it’s still nice and clean and organized..

Some visitors this morning: I think Lola was disappointed that there weren’t any clothes on the floor for her to lay on while I was getting ready for work.This a gift from my mom.. goes well with the theme of the post…. haha

Keep up the good work.

Dumpster Diving

No, this isn’t a cool post with a play on words for a Trash the Dress shoot or something fun like that, but it is a pretty funny story. So, I’m heading to a meeting at 9am and I thought I heard something drop into the trashcan… look around, and I seem to have everything that I was carrying… So, I go on my way… Then, after what seemed like a long day, I decided that I needed to take a trip to Starbucks to break up the day… It was then that I realized what had dropped into the trashcan earlier…. it was my carkey! So, after hunting down the custodian, I find out that the trash has already been taken to the dumpster/compacter but there is a good chance that I would be able to find it because he used black trash bags in my area only… I thought… no way I am going to look in the dumpster for that key, I’ll just get a ride home and call VW and pay the few hundred it costs for the lazer cut key and chalk it up to my own blondeness… Well, a coworker convinced me to go out there and at least try because he would help.. So picture this: there I am at my place of work in my business casual attire hanging over the edge of the dumpster… I couldn’t reach the black bags so I actually had to jump in…. Very Sexy… huh? Anyways, I found my key in the second bag, so it was worth it, and I had a great story to tell.

Robyn and Erwin are Married!

Yesterday I drove down to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to second shoot for Mark Gardner at the wedding of Robyn and Erwin. The wedding was amazing and the bride was gorgeous!

Lunchtime photoshoot

I took some photos during my lunch break today of my friend and former cubemate Trishna. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of working in corporate America, and don’t know what a cubemate is:

cubemate: the person who you share a 8 x 8 space with 2 desks surrounded by short walls that you get to spend your workday with.

I have been living in cubeland for about 8 years now…. yikes! and I use the words cubemate, cubeland, cubicle.. etc under the assumption that everyone knows what I’m talking about…. apparently not. Anyways, onto the pictures…
